Lovelife of a Coyote
No this is not some nature show. Well, kinda.
This album brings out songs from the present, past, and distant past for a cute blend of Coyote's romantic projects.
"I Want You To Love Me," was written to a delivery driver girl of a movie company.
"All Around The World," was written to Coyote's 1984 poet fiancee.
"I Just Want To Be With You," was originally written to_____ but Coyote decided to make it about his NEXT ROMANCE.
"In Line," was written to newspaper girl in San Diego.
"House Of Rejection" was written to his Jewish fiancee in 1981.
"Change Your Mind," was written to Michelle.
"All Alone," was written to ________ but dedicated to Michelle when he performed and recorded it for the album.
"Hurts To Know," was written to Angie, before Coyote met Michelle.
"Carol," was written to Carol.
"In Dreams," was written in the seventies. It felt like it had been written yesterday.
Loveletters of Coyote
The song, "1,000 Sorrows For A Love," is a love letter. Unedited, unchanged, with all the humbling sacrificing devotion of a love with a life of its own. Lara original hooked Coyote by sending him poetry in the mail. Their love letters grew into a true love.
Perhaps that's what makes "1,000 Sorrows For A Love," a poem, rather than a love letter. Coyote's heartfelt love brings poetry to his love letter through his passionate words and metaphors.
Someday, we'll have to dig through Coyote's journals and discover some more romantic poetry.
Recording Nastiness
This album's not vulgar or rude, well maybe a little in that song, "Musical Woman."
There were several other songs planned for this album, but Coyote's lovelife changed in the past couple years and he didn't want to feel the passion is some of them. Somehow, someday, they'll probably get recorded. "Oh Michelle" was a concert favorite and always got people dancing. The nasty lyrics made the girls giggle and the guys smile.
As for getting in the mood for his "Musical Woman" nastiness. Coyote will only reveal that he was, "in the mood."
